Well… Not so long ago I’ve started to watch Stargate: Universe. Now I totally fell in love with Destiny. Sooo… I wanted to draw her humanized version. And I did it.

Oh, wow… I’ve been wanting to do something like this for so long, and this just absolutely blows out of the water every concept I’ve thought up. This is just utterly stunning; I’m completely speechless with how perfectly this captures the design of Destiny.

Camp NaNoWriMo - Day 3
Word Count: 2665/25,000
Progress! The story is fully in motion now, and our main character, Kesa, has been introduced to the first of two characters that she’ll be tangoing with for the remainder of the story, the sloppy, ramble-about Che. Things get a bit tense for a bit, but we get a good setup (I hope!) for the two characters to get to know one another.
Trigger warnings indicated in the tags, but be advised that those who are sensitive to breaking and entering/home invasion situations should observe caution before reading onwards.

Was out earlier running errands— well, errand, namely paying my car insurance— and decided, hey, I’m out in town anyway and it’s nearly time for salah al-dhuhur, let’s go by the mosque for my prayers.
It’s actually the first time I’ve been there since the building was completed, and it’s quite beautiful to drive up on.
Walked up to the door, and found the door locked.
I probably should have known better, as the only car in the parking lot was a police patrol car with tinted windows and no lights.
